Read somewhere why dogs roll around on something dead like that, but can't remember why they do it. Wish I could remember.

Well our company has left and now the place seems empty. Now we need to clean up a lil and take a deep breath and unwind to start tomorrow anew. kinda the post company blues.
Our dog does the same thing. If he can get to it & it stinks he's going to roll in it. nonono
Our neighbors dog, kind of a pest, found one of my fish head piles the other day and rolled back and forth for a while. I'll bet my neighbor was surprised when he came home and into the house. nonono
Taking a break from push mowing the jungle. Time to shuffle all my red neck riches or Cajun outside toys. it's brutal hot but every once and a while a cloud comes over and a breeze stirs. Thank God for the little things.
Been ripping lumber on the table saw in the shop. Going to do some unique trim on a window in the addition. Pooped, tired of going up and down on the ladder. Ann says the shop needs to be cleaned up again, so much stuff in there. Lets see - a 5' x 4' table saw, a 14" band saw, a compound shaper, 10" radial saw, a 12" compound miter saw with stand, 10" drill press, compound shaper (router table), 12" lathe, 40 gal compressor, compound belt sander on stand, etc., etc.
On top of that, have the water treatment system with five different tanks in there for various purposes (Ann likes taking a bath in bottled water). I wanted the system in there so I can keep an eye on it. Not enough hours in the day, that's for sure.

Went to Lowes yesterday afternoon for a few garden supplies. We are sticking a few things in the ground for fall. One of the things I got is a short replacement hose to go from the faucet to our hose winder spool. I grabbed some channel locks and got the hose loose from the faucet but when I went to unscrew the hose from the reel The whole swivel part broke off. In hind sight I shoulds sued a back up wrinch stead of just twisting on it hard. It was plastic and 5 or more years old. So now I have a new short hose and no reel. Time to step back and figure how to rerig the hose. Peg never liked winding it up anyways.
