    Default Hummingbirds are here

Lots of them around the feeders. They're too busy chasing each other around to get a good picture - I've tried several times. Sorry. There is a ruby throated one that is a real bully and thinks he's the boss. Love to hear their chirps when they do a fly-by close to me. If you fellas have a good picture of yours, sure would like to see them.

Saw a couple here week before last so we filled a feeder, they have hung around and now we seem to have 5 or so, they are kinda like doves, you see about half of them. Bunch of them will be here before long I hope!!

Theres so many around my house - but I dont have a dang porch built yet to hang a feeder....a couple summers ago when I was building my shop one would fly right down between the rafters (no roof yet) and hover by my head like he was checking up on progress. Id sit there and talk to him for a minute or two then he would take off. I was the neatest thing... happened every day for about week.

They have been here since last month
They were swarming in the citrus then hit the feeders till the ligustrums bloomed and went to those. They always hit the feedeers hard when it rains. Daddy usta always say it was cause the rain washed the nectar outa the flowers. good theory I guess.
