The debris was horrendous. Was bothering me big time, got it done. Part one of driveway:

I know from the pictures it looks like a regular dirt road - it's not. When they tore down the old JC Penny at Northgate mall, I wheeled in and asked the foreman what they had planned on doing with the broke up brick. He said it goes to disposal. I wanted it. So I paid for the diesel for their trucks to come out. Seven 16 yard trucks dumped it along the driveway. I packed it down and topped it with 4" of #57 limestone and finished it off. This was 20+ years ago.

The Vermillion river is very dirty right now next to the driveway:

As I was fooling around, took some pictures of my no trespassing signs along the driveway:

My property is very densely wooded. I would say I probably haven't even stepped on at least most of it. I wondered in a little off the driveway and saw this since the under growth has died down:

Looked at this stack of slate I have. Saw this on the side of road when someone was re-roofing their house. Replaced what they had with the common asphalt shingles everyone so loves. Crying shame. I believe I'll lay that up around the fireplace in the addition. The real thing.

Life is good. Thanks for looking.
