At the gathering this weekend, the wife, kids, and our friend Laura stayed at the cabin on Saturday, and found out about something the park offers called geo caching. There was an app they downloaded to their phone that provided coordinates that were used to move down trails and find hidden boxes of items left by past 'explorers' that went looking for them and did a swap. Sounded like a pretty fun adventure, and she took some pictures of the fun, so thought I'd share.

Found the first cache.

Natalie, Jacob, Laura, Tammy, and Brody

A bit of nature

Jacob and Brody found a hanging vine...

...of course, someone had to give it a tug, at which point it fell around them. lol

Brody and...I think it's half a turtle shell.

The 3 amigos

Anxious to see what's in the box...

Anyway, may be too many pictures, but they sure seemed to have fun so I thought I'd share. If you make it to the park, give the office a call and they can provide details about this park 'attraction'.
