Hey don't forget Lake Charles was 8th. 6 of the top ten were Louisiana.

Louisiana is always noted for its corruption, etc., but not for the positives like this. A few years ago a similar survey showed that while Louisiana ranks as one of the poorest states, it ranked #1 in charitable donations per capita. Another study showed Louisiana ranked #1 in happiness among the 50 states and a higher percentage of Louisianians served in World War II than any other state. We must be doing something right.

Louisiana usually ranks near the bottom in education, so maybe ignorance is bliss

Louisiana is good country with a disproportionate number of fun folks. They love their family, their land, and they love to laugh. Some of the hardest working, be it work or play, folks you will ever find.
