My son Hayden ( Little Bit ) took 1st place in Jr Genesis and Jr Bare Bow in our Parish Competition. Great end to the year after taking 2-1st at Crying Eagle, 1st and 2nd at Regional and 2-1st at State in the same categories. His mother and I are very proud of his hard work.

Mike tell Hayden congrats on all the wins. That's quite a feat to accomplish using a recurve bow. When younger I shot some with a long bow before recurves and it takes a lot of practice and a natural feel to hit bulls eye.

That is terrific shooting.....especially shooting bare bow......I used to deer hunt with a recurve (without sights) so I know what he has achieved....he has my respect for sure with all those awards.......

Thanks I'm anxious to see how he will do in the Senior Division next year, he should have some steep competition so he has decided to practice throughout the year to compete with the older kids.

Quite an accomplishment with a bare bow! You and the Missus should be proud!

Very nice shooting! Tell him congratulations for me! My soon to be daughter in law shoots bare bow too, and it is quite an accomplishment! Thanks for the story and picture.
