The driveway off the highway. Drainage along Hwy 1252 runs along the road, then takes a hard bend to the left, then right before draining into the Vermillion river right at my driveway. I am having problems with washing out where it makes the bend. I had have enough, time to do something. The state told me that it's not there problem because this coulee crossing is beyond the 10' right a way that they have. The parish said they can't do anything because it's private property. This coulee is 10' deep. I said fine, since it's private property, I will order up 16 yards of fill material and fill it in and call it good. They decided that they would take care of it. 950 sq. ft. Those timbers are 12 X 12 and set 4' in the ground cemented. To be topped with 1 1/8" tongue and grove treated plywood Monday. All said and done, $27/foot total blackout including windows etc.
