Fishing Camp

looking for a nice small fishing camp close to near the water around the lafayette area. cant be a lot or two, floating camp or old party barge that i can make into a floating camp. Wanting a MAN cave on the water for us to be able to stop and rest, relax, eat, drink or just sleep. does not have to be the ritz just comfortable... any help out there?

Man, I cant't believe there hasn't been someone try to unload some Piece of Realestate in the swamp. I have been watching this since you first posted it. Go to a real estate agent agent online looking at Waterfront for first choice The Old party barge is in someones yard, Swap a Shotgun for it and hope it floats .... My wife has a smart phone she said Zillow has an app that might also help

Look in Facebook on Cajun Swap Shop I saw a place around Ville Platte on Cajun Swap Shop the other day. There are always pontoons on there for sale.

When you have a floating camp are you leasing that space from the state. I fish with a buddy from Chalmette and have seen these out in the areas we have fished but do not know a thing about how one puts one in.
