Hey Pete went off shore, about 20 miles south of Rockafeller with my buddy...Crazy Mike. Fishing wasn't very good but we would come on some bait fish tearing up the water every now and then. Well that got old Mike to thinking, "This would be fun on a fly rod!" So he broke out the old gear and low and behold after a couple of misses, he hooked up on one. Now it wasn't nothing really worth posting about (blue fish) but since it was caught on the fly, well that kind of makes it worthy. He did yell out the statement "Eat your heart out Pete Cooper!" Anyone know what kind of a bird this is? He thought it was a Bouby (sp), which can't land on water? Kind of makes you wonder what he was doing 20 miles out in the gulf don't it?!?!
