Nice Bruce, I've been to these 11 places identified,

and I've seen places similar to 8 others such as,

The oaks of Oak Alley and Manresa House of Retreat

Shrimp boats up and down our bayous, all along the coast from Cameron on the West to Venice on the East.

At one time I have had hundreds of Louisiana Irises growing in my yard.

My Dad had one of the most beautiful Magnolias growing in his yard as I was growing up.

I've seen many old cemeteries down the bayous, some actually in the water.

The garden district in New Orleans

    Lake Verret area

My back yard in Theriot La.

It was a wonderful reminder of our beautiful state. Thanks for posting and I can't wait for Linda to be ready to travel again. I bet there are hundreds and thousand of such places to see, if we only open our eyes.
