I got an email from Markham/Fishin Magician

A while back I sent him an email through his dormant charter website and he replied back this week.

I'll just copy/paste:

Howdy Team M&M!,

Yeah I am still live and fishin'. Took me a little walkabout and did some traveling this last year. Went to Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia. Headed back down to New Orleans here in less then a month to try to get my charter back up and going. Miss you guys at crappie.com as well. Gunna have to get back up to Shreveport for some winter time slab action sometime. Or maybe just make another gathering. Once I get back to fishing in New Orleans I will drop in CDC and make a post.

Seems he might be back in the charter business soon and I know I'll book a trip with him for me and my dad as soon as he gets back up and running. Just thought a few of you might want to know what he's been up to. I know someone said he's been traveling and he posted some stuff on facebook but I'm not much of a facebook user and I kind of avoid it cause I see how addicted to it that my wife gets, lol

Thanks for keeping us updated. Markham is a great guy, I fished with him once and enjoyed it very much. I've never met someone that fishes so wide open like he does.

Glad to hear he's doing well and appreciate the update. I remember at the D-bone gathering one year when he was there. Showed up at the launch at dusk with two ice chests full of catfish and crappie! He's a lot of fun to listen to as well, very outgoing.
