Dwyane and I were out there that day - Feb. 13, I believe, after a hard freeze and serious frost. Don't know what the water temp was, but I'd imagine it was chilly enough that if the guys didn't drown right off, hypothermia would have gotten 'em really quick.
Life jackets would have been kind of a moot point.
Plastic boats should be great in bayous, barpits, large ponds, and similar waters, but not in lakes, even those as small as Bundick's.
