Tried something different yesterday and put in at Burns Point (South of Franklin on the east shoreline of Cote Blanche Bay. Conditions were outstanding except for a bit of Yoo-Hoo water, but we didn't catch anything at a couple of old favorite spots.
The point of this tirade is that there's a lot of construction work going on at the campground and launch-site there. It's going to be even nicer than it was beforehand once they finish, but right now parking room there is scarce. If you fish Marone Point, Marsh Island, or the Nickle, I'd tolerate the longer run and put in at Cypremort Point.
Or fish out of Intracoastal City.
