    Went to PP thurs night, had a great trip with son , mom and dad kept 36 my son caught a 20 pounder.My dad caught a few on catalpa worms but the best bait is cut shad

    Was that 20 pounder a channel cat? If so, it would have ranked #2 in the state record book. #1 is just just over 30 lb.

    Nope it was a blue cat, not the best for eating but he still hasn't stopped talking about it.

    hey treboryerf, no I have never met la stumpjumper but he has great post and catches a lot of fish! By the way I'm headed back to PP tonight!!!

    here is a bit of infor for yall about la stumpjumper. the "LA" stands for "lower arkansas" not "louisiana" i met him at the darbonne gathering two years ago. he is a really nice guy.
