Jordan 4/24
Mrs Monk and I launched the Triton 196 TA at 10:30 am at Farrington Point.
Fished White Oak Creek. Friday was the only day we have been this year when the wind was not blowing 20 to 35 mph.
Long line trolled Stroll'rs and Southern Pro Hot grubs. White/chartreuse and Acid rain with chartreuse heads were the best colors.
Fish were biting so fast we lost count. We caught 125 to 150. Sometimes we would have 3 or 4 on at the same time. We kept 40 fish over 10 inches.
No large fish; however, all good filleting size.
The water temp was 73 degrees by late evening. Spawning is near!
No pictures! The fish were iced for cleaning on Saturday. Iced fish do not make good pictures.

Sounds like a good day to me & ditto on the wind. I think friday on Hickory was the first day I've fished this year with less than a 20mph wind.
P.S. Love the Shimano 2000 reels w/ rear drag for trolling. A great deal at Monkscrappie.com
