    Question Outboard mechanic from Trotters

Last April when I had problems with my Suzukt DT-40. Someone on here recommended I call the guy that use to be the mechanic at Trotters on 109. I think his name was Alan. I need to contact him again. If you can help with his full name and phone # I would greatly appreciate it.

Kellog...he is an old friend of mine...when I took my boat to him he said he only worked on Johnson and Evinrudes....didn't have the equipment to work on Mercurys. He will do service work on all makes...such as changing water pumps...lower units and all that. I put Simpleman on him the other day...not sure what the outcome of that was. Painter posted the correct numbers. He lives off Old 109...near Hwy 64 and Hwy 109.

I am just curious...since I posted his contact information back last spring...has anyone used him? If so, was he okay? I like knowing these things since I recommended him from the git go.

Thanks fellows for the info. PopPop, when I called him last year and told him what my Suzuki DT40 was doing he told me what was wrong while on the phone. I followed his advice and it took care of the problem.

    Default Boat mechanics

    Hey guys,
I think it would be a good idea to start a thread for boat/trailer mechanics
especially those that we highly reccomend and especially good back yard mechanics that dont charge out the yazoo like some marinas do.
it would be good to know of mechanics in different areas in case we need one in a pinch.
