Default There are still crappie in Falls

I fished Sat and sunday and found them running up the creeks. They were in the channel with shallow water off each side. The channel was about 10 foot and fish from 6 to 8 and most were very black. Caught about 20 fish saturday and almost all were real nice fish. That isnt that great for an all day fish but its a start and a change for me on Falls. Sunday was not that great for me as I only landed one nice one and lost another real nice fish and landed a snapin turtle about a foot across. He was pissed to say the least. I did see some nice ones landed by others but I just wasnt in the sweet spot I guess. The wind was almost unbearable Sunday and the water was very dirty. I was surprised to see anyone catch a fish.

Thanks Tony. You are right I am addicted to crappie! I have had a bad winter season and just getting some nice slabs was very satisfying to say the least.
