Just heads up the lake will be dropping 8 to 9 ft this week to meet the high demands of power during this cold spell. The lake will still be very fishable but be careful. Last year this time lake down for dam repairs 9 feet. NCL was here and winning weight with 10 fish was 22.4 so they can be caught. All caught down lake due to no water up river. Have at it but be safe.

Thanks for the info Leudy1! When that lake is down that far how many ramps are still launchable??
Basically, all public ramps are open. Go to SaveHighRockLake.org Home Page and it will tell you all water depths at ramps, bridge clearances, water temp, lake level, inflow, outflow etc. There are some ramps way up river like York Hill, Pump Station and Highway 601 that probably you cannot not use as well as many personal ramps. When the lake is down the fish are all pulled together in the most water they can find. Takes away docks, tree laydowns, backs of creeks. So can be easier if you find them but WHERE is the question.
Thanks Leudy! Will check that site. Thank you for the continued info!!
