Got my good luck charm out with me yesterday on High Rock and we were into fish almost immediately. Lines were out at 6:00 A.M. on the dot and we were off with our fish by 11:30 A.M.

I stopped counting after we boated 50 crappie along with ~15 catfish and only God knows how many white bass. The big fish were eating yesterday with ~10 over 12" that went back including 4 over 13" and the fish of the day was this beautiful 14 1/4" white (scale was in my other bag!).

We kept 15 between 11-12" to clean but better than that, just had a blast. Still teaching the little why attention to detail is important but overall, she's developing into a special kind of angler with jussssst enough of that mean streak in her that shows me she's got the fire and her pursuit is relentless. Girl NEVER wants to leave the water even though she knows we've got Momma and two other sisters chomping at the bit.

One of those days to remember, for sure.
