I went to lake Randleman Saturday and got into some very nice fall crappie. I only managed to catch 28 and ended up keeping 20 of those for the freezer. out of the 20 I had 14 fish that weighed more than a pound apiece and 5 of those were 1 1/2 to 1 3/4. I will take quality over quantity anytime. Surface temperature was 66 when I got there around 9:00 am and had climbed to 68 when I pulled my rods in at 2:00 pm would have liked to stay longer but had a friends 60th bday to attend. Fish seemed to be in 20 to 25 ft of water hanging 12 to 15 ft deep from what I could tell.
