Roanoke Rapids Lake

Anyone fish this lake going Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Love be to have any info is it a good lake to longline and are any tips of what depth water they are right now. Never been there.

Wish I had seen this post sooner. Stay away from middle of the lake from its mid point all the way to Gaston dam unless your on the trolling motor. Stump beds and grass are all over the middle areas. There is good Rock fishing below Gaston dam and bass can be caught around most of the hydrilla which is everywhere. Dominion power's website has the Gaston dam generation schedule. Rock fishing is best when they are generating.
