I carried a friend fishing Saturday morning. It was a slow start but we finally found some nice keeper crappie as well as some cats that I'm sure will eat good too. Found most of the nice crappie in 14 feet of water stuck tight to the bottom.
I don't normally fish on Saturday in the summer but this is a good friend and it's the only time he can fish. I always thought that fishermen and women are different from pleasure boaters and what I saw Saturday confirms that. Some of these pleasure boaters are just like us but a lot of them have no respect while on the water. They don't obey the boating laws or use common sense while being as wild as they can be. Wildlife is not maned to control the crowd and I have never seen an officer on the lake. I don't want to see anyone hurt or killed but if it keeps up accidents are going to happen. I respect everyones right to use the water but they need to be careful and value the use of the lakes and ramps.
