Thread: Tillery "crackers"

Photos are the result of several trips in the past two weeks targeting shellcrackers. Had 5 fish that weighed in excess of 2 lbs. each with biggest at 2lbs, 5 ozs. In addition, had another 7 fish that weighed in excess of 1 lb., 8ozs, each with the largest at 1 lb, 15 ozs. Remainder of fish caught, probably 20/25 (mostly males) estimated weight would have been in the 3/4 lb. +/- range each. I think the spawn is over now, bite fell off after Wed. am. Wish I could find these year round. But I did release all but a couple of the males alive at my pier for future catching.
