Had several half day trips this week that were quite successful.

No doubt that the spawn is wrapping up. Yes there are still fish spawning but from what i am seeing they are the smaller 8-10 inch females.

For those who are fishing this weekend, the pattern i am seeing for bigger fish is fishing docks and shallow brush in 6-12ft of water as they are pulling off the banks. They are dropping water levels FAST the last few days so keep that in mind. I am sure they can be found on deeper structure as well.
The last few days also ive seen a lot of crappie fry on the surface as well (along the bank where i have caught maby over the last few weeks) which further tells me that its about over.

Its time to fish for striper some more as well as clean up my boat. Its so dirty from the last few weeks, im almost embarrassed to be in it. Those who fish the yadkin lakes know where im coming from with the brown scum line that builds on the side of the boat!

Just a few photos from the last 4 days.
