I appreciate the constructive comment about darkening the features of the crappie to stand out more. I actually lose a whole lot of detail and contrast whenever I take the digital picture with my camera and prolly some more when I upload the photos to my editing software. I try to adjust everything to look right... but any adjustment in one area seems to take away from other areas.

I've had so much call for this stuff that I'm actually doing these drawings to offer as wall art (frameable canvas and posters) to sell on my website when I get it back up and running.

I haven't had much good luck doing these in color. When I take digital photos of the piece and upload it to the computer I always get distorted and transparent looking colors that really look pretty awful.
I do hope to find a more professional source for handling uploads and printing that better accommodate color artwork. I am also experimenting with better camera and lighting equipment.

Thanks for your constructive comments on the drawing gobbler. I agree that I did not show the tie eye on the jig... but intentionally did not because I was showing a slight rotation of the jig to the inside. The hook appears to have "pixelized" some when the drawing was photographed and uploaded... and I'm not really sure why it did but I don't like it either.

I have always liked Paint, Microsoft Publisher and Paint.net. I've tried some of the more complicated programs... but found I didn't have sense enough to learn them.
