Default Finally back at it 3-10

Man its been over a month since ive been on the water targeting striper. Made a few scouting crappie trips on HR looking for places to take my impatient wife amd others crappie fishing. Its been either work, weather, flu, or slaving with projects around my house.

After a tough Duke loss last night, had to hit the water with a fellow Duke fan and drown our sorrows today. Water was high, cold and dingy, but still caught a few quality fish. 8.5 and 8.9lbs.

Fishing should only improve in the coming weeks!

Nice fish. Are they running the main lake or back in creeks?

    little late on the response:

fish were caught in creek mouths. I however would not take that pattern serious. It was the only clean enough pocket of cleaner water i found and decided to fish that area over others that held stacks of bait.

    Water temp was 51-53
