Tip of the day!
When putting in at Seaforth boat ramp, pay attention to where the end of the ramp is when the water is low. There is a red line painted on the sides of the docks to indicate the end of the ramp.(figured that out too late)
Now, if you do happen to run the trailer tires off the end, simply maneuver your boat over the end of your trailer and use your anchor to lift the end of the trailer while someone else ( preferably someone that follows directions well) pulls up just far enough to get the wheels back on the ramp. DO NOT TRY AND SNATCH THE TRAILER BACK UP! YOU WILL TEAR SOMETHING UP. Fortunately we didn't try the SNATCH method. But did talk to a guy that did and cracked his axle. Had to help another guy get his trailer back on the ramp when we were leaving.
Now to the fishing! The fish were not cooperating! First time I've been and not caught a single crappie all day! Just a few small white perch and a foul hooked an 8" gizzard shad.
