Fished for about an hour this morning and caught 8 fishing on the public dock at the big lake in BSL. (Lake Patricia) All were released. Never seen a post on this lake, never heard of anyone crappie fishing on it, and haven't seen a boat on it the past two weekends. But there are crappie in it for you guys who venture down towards Wilmington. Smallest was the size of my palm, largest was 13.5". Most were 8-10". Two caught on small firetiger crankbait, the rest on minnows. I think this is an overlooked fishery and I plan to exploit it to the fullest as it is the only deep water lake (35' in spots) in my area. Name: 20171202_083100.jpg Views: 658 Size: 78.9 KB
