    Default Lake Benson in Garner NC?


    Has anyone ever fished for crappie on this lake? Done any good? I was thinking of taking my son this weekend and I'm hoping for some tips?

    There are Crappie in there. It's a pay to launch though so I have never fished it.

    When I was at NC State I 1962, I caught a lot very large amount of large mouth bass from lake Benson. No reason not to have Crappie, now!

    Thanks guys! I'm going to give it a shot. I sold my boat a few months ago because my wife is pregnant and we needed the money. So this lake with boat rental will be convenient. Cheers!
