Sorry for the late post. Wow it's been a busy week......

I decided a few months ago that I was going to try fishing Moss this year since it's closer to home than HR. It probably wasn't a good idea to make the first trip in August when the fishing is tough but I need to learn the lake so I went anyway. The first thing that caught my attention was how clear the water was. (kinda like the Linville side of James) The second thing was there's not much structure except for what has been placed there by fishermen.
I rode around and searched for deep brush piles and found several but couldn't get a bite so I decided to longline jigs for awhile in the back of creeks where i'd marked a lot of bait earlier in the morning and ended up catching (4) 7
