Default screen shots of crappie in deeper water

Could some of you guys post some screen shots of what you're seeing before you start to pull cranks in an area? I use a Helix 7 and am seeing a lot on my screen, but still need some help determining exactly what depth I need to be targeting. I'm letting out the prescribed amount of line and getting my lines close to the water, but still want to know that I'm pulling over schools of fish. Only caught 1 at High Rock Friday in about 3 hours of trolling.

Nccater, the only suggestion I can give you is this, start with a shorter amount of line out, with 10' difference between rods unt you find the depth they are at. I would also suggest you push the baits instead of pulling, it is way easier to control your depth this way. I can send you a link to a depth chart for pushing if you want it.

I have the depth charts and use them, but not helping so far.
When you push the 300 series Bandits and 350 Arkies and you're trying to get them down to say 11 feet, do you have to allow for the cranks to "dive" deeper than the set depth?
Meaning, do you let out less than 11 to account for the dive?
I know I'm probably over thinking this but if I didn't ask I wouldn't know.
Also figured you'd have to use a stouter rod than normal since you'd have to put more weight than you'd use for jigs or minnows.

If you are pushing with a3 oz weight, with 12'of line out you are running 9' deep at 1.7 mph.I use the same rods I pull with to push.

if you search on this sight you can find a pile of pics of schools of crappie shown of the screen, but what you are doing now by trolling crankbaits is looking for those scattered suspended roaming crappie that follow the bait around, so you aren't gonna seem many of them, alot of the times they are just under the school of bait so they are real hard to see on regular 2d sonar, i would run my baits at the depth of the bottom of the bait balls you are seeing, that'll get you real close, go out and idle a couple of the places i have mentioned to you, whichever one shows the most "life", ie bait and or fish, pull through that area a few times, id run a variety of different baits to begin with and let the fish tell you what they like

Man has won a bunch of $ the past several years, definitely knows what he's talking about.
