Trolling crankbaits

I have never tried this technique for crappie, but would like to learn. I have a coranary condition. Its operable, but I'm afraid I'll miss a good opportunity to fish before the end of prime cranking season. If anyone who likes cranking crappie and would care to share their time, I would much appreciate it.
