Norman 4/28 and 4/29

Fished maybe 45 minutes Fruday evening and caught one 12" crappie 20' deep in 25 fow near brush. Saturday morning was a bust with just 1 bass and 2 white perch. Up to this point, we fished fairly far back in coves from 5-35 fow. Since nothing was going in, we figured we'd try a couple spots away from coves/creeks and more on the main lake/close to the main channel. That seemed to be much better as we caught 10 slot fish (11-14"), 2 over the slot, and 6 under the slot. All in 20-30' fow near brush. Fish were still fairly black and only one of 7 I cleaned had eggs. All on minnows and we didn't catch any on jigs in spite of our efforts. Fished between marker 10 and the shoal area near the hot hole more or less.

There was a smattering of bass and perch Saturday afternoon as well. We also had 2 Hybrids.

Water temp Saturday morning was 72.
