    Default Ya'll are Welcome !

After the news of there not being a normal CrappieFest several folks suggested some place else. After a couple weeks of no one coming up with one it was talked over last night. So here we go. Aint gonne make everyone happy but never will. April 22 is a Saturday. We plan on meeting at Ebenezer Ramp on Lake Wylie for a get together. Gate opens at 6:00 a.m. and we will set out as close to 7:00 as possible. We will fish till 1:00 p.m. and weigh in will be 1:30 p.m. Planning on BiggDawwg cooking brats on the grill. We welcome any donations on the food ,shelter and prize fund. So here it is and we welcome any input on it. Hope to see a good crowd. Remember it is for family and friends. Dont worry bout not knowing where to fish. We gonna have folks out all week finding places to hunt for em. And may even let you pet the BiggDawgg ! Lets go fishin !

Can't catch em if ya ain't fishin.

Hope you can make it, that would be a great time. Maybe just kick back and let ana do all the hook setting and reeling. =)

Everyone's welcome to attend to attend including Newly!
All you got to do for the most part is come and fish, eat and be happy! Oh! and BRAGG!
We have picnic area number 1 located in the middle, behind the bath house at the large parking lot. Easy to find.
    Here's the menu:
Brattwurst/karut, hot dogs and hamburgers with let/tom/onion. I am not asking for any help to prepare this. Mrs. Dawgg will have it at the park just before we return to the landing. She may need some help moving it to the tables from her car. If you come in early and see her give her a hand. All other: Paper plates, forks/spoons, paper towels, ketchup, mustard, pickles and relish I'll get at Sam's.

We will need someone to bring potato salad, chips and please bring your own drinks and chairs. Let me know what you plan to bring! Please, mark your food containers so we*can get them back to you if you leave it.* We will have ice in a cooler for cup drinks.

Also a Special Request ! Tim can you provide your baked bean dish like the last time? If someone wants to add to this please feel free to do so!

We will need someone to bring*deserts, if anyone can bring a sweet treat that will be fine, ie.. cake and cookies. If you want to bring a few drinks for others that's fine too! Maybe sweet and unsweet tea, soda pops for the kids. Please! Remember the park has rules on alcohol. No public display. Use a red solo cup or Styrofoam cup. Just be mindful of*the kids.

I would like to ask for someone to volunteer to help set the tables up for the arrangement of food. Looking for it to be arranged so that no one has to double back inline to get something.

Please, Ask questions if you have special needs. I'll try to answer and help the best I can. The rest rooms will be located*close to*where our area is. There is a pet area and kids play ground with lots of great view of the lake. Please, be responsible for yourself, kids and pets. If anyone has a map of Lake Wylie, please bring it to help others who are not familiar with the lake. Lake Wylie does not have many hazards. We will try to mention that at the meeting prior to launching.*If you are planning to stay over night there are plenty of hotels close to the park within a few miles*and camping on site. You need to reserve a spot now because it's usually full on the weekends. As of now there will not be an entrance fee! If you stay over night in the camp ground, the park ranger will give you a pass code for the gate to re-enter at the time you register, so*if you leave to go some where else, you can get back in.

My question now is! How many of you and please include the ages of kids that are coming?
If I didn't list something holler out. I want this to be the best we can have.

Also, please register your name and handle, plus your phone number to us prior to the launch. This is for emergency purpose's only! You will be given*ours. If not, please ask for it!

Google: Ebenezer Park Rock Hill, SC for any information you may require.

Direction to the park from I-77
Take I-77 to exit #82-C. Follow SC #161 (Celanese Road) west for 1.8 kilometers (1.1 miles), then turn right onto Mount Gallant Road (#195). Go northwest 6.9 km. (4.3 mi.), then turn right onto Boatshore Road, which leads into Ebenezer Park.

    Address:
    4490 Boatshore Road
    Rock Hill, SC 29732
    803-366-6620

PS. I will offer my yard to park your boat in if you don't want to leave it in the hotel parking lot. Just as a precautionary. I am only about 15 minute from the landing and about 20 minute from the nearest hotel. PM me if that's good for you. I got Dawgg's who bark at anything.*9mm, 40 cal and browning*12 Ga. *just to name a few. LOL Holler and I'll give you the address.

I know this is a lot to take in. Read it a couple of times and make sure I got us covered. If you find something wrong please correct me. I'm easy to work with but I'm not free! LOL You need something not listed here holler out. Just let me know what your bringing so we don't have to much of one thing.

Oh, Brett will be doing live well checks, so you better check your live wells after him! Longlining will most likely be the way to go, so ask Brett and Ck for their honey holes. Brett will have his books, Where not to fish! For sale and autographs for only a dollar!

One other little thing. Don't block the park gate. There will be other people entering before day light with their night passes.

I'm posting this on both threads so everyone can see. Don't shoot the messenger!
Thanks and I'll see you soon on April 22nd. 6 AM.

Less than 2 weeks to go! Better get on the list for who's coming. Don't forget to tell how many kids are coming or any special needs. Mrs. Dawgg is going shopping to get the stuff together for a picnic. Looking forward to seeing everyone and putting some faces to the names. We will put a sign in sheet out for everyone to in, please do this for it will help us keep track of our folks and guest in case of break downs or emergency. Thanks to everyone that has volunteered food and donations it's Greatly appreciated.
