Tillery Saturday and Sunday

Did a little catfishing with my wife and daughter Saturday afternoon. Wrong bait I think. Had one jumbo shrimp left over from supper that I did not cook. 13 lber grabbed it almost right away. Used cut crappie the rest of the time. Pulled 4 out in about 2 hours trolling. Sunday did a little crappie fishing, but it was about 10 before we got started and we missed the bite. Everyone said they did pretty good early. Marked them in the mouths and centers of the coves pretty deep, but hard to get the to bite. Few and far in between. Threw them all back for seed.

Man sounds like fun, I think some of my friends are planning to go up there the 20-21st of this month, I may join them, and maybe I will hit you up, and finally get to talk a little. I am off work this Friday, and might take my uncle and my 5 year old cousin on his first trip on a boat. Haven't decided if we will try Tillery, or Blewett. Hope to miss the holiday traffic by fishing early.
