Default Anyone know how muddy HR is today?

Good morning to all. Have an 11 yr old son dying to go fishing today. Was wondering if anyone could shed some light on how bad High rock is after the rains. We'll be traveling from Mt. Airy. Trying to decide between Norman or HR. Bout the same drive time. Just not sure if everyone had as much rain as we had Fri morning. 2.4" here. Thanks for any input on water conditions ! DS

Thank you guys for your response. Went to lake rt after church yesterday with my son and father on board. Fished for about 3.5 hrs and had a blast. My son sat in the front of the boat and put a whoopin on us in the back (his version of the story). He was using minnows I was shooting under the docks with jigs. We didn't slay em but it was fairly steady for some amateurs. We brought home 12 fish 10"-11". Threw back 2 between 12-13" both full of eggs, wanted to let em produce. Couldn't tell a preference in color on the jigs but the lil roadrunner heads with small blade did make a difference for us. Thanks again for the info on water conditions. Was blessed with a great afternoon. Good luck to all !
