    Nick,
If you hear anything, let me know. Me and the wife have been wanting to get back there and catch a few stripers, but no one that I know is catching any. Reelsmoke is a very good striper fisherman and fished all day Saturday. From one end to the other with live bait and tried trolling and has yet to catch a striper. I have heard of one striper caught in the past 3 weeks. Tough right now.

You gents want to know a secret to striper fishing? Something that not even the "how to" books publish that helps put fish in the boat? Ready for this.....:

When you are live baiting and you mark the piss out of them and not getting a bite, try knocking the bottom of the boat. Call it crazy, but it works more times than not! You can thank me later. Good luck!

It's called "Thumping" Pete. I've been catching them thumping, when no one else was catching them on live bait, for 30 years.
