    Default Harris 6/11

Went to Harris yesterday and fished from 7 till 12:30. Ended the night with a crappie count of 41, 8 cats and 1 six foot Christmas tree. We did manage one 14" and one 15" fish, the rest were around 10". Everything was released including the tree. White Perch were relentless again. Still no shad in the lights but a million shiners.

We've been catching some hefty perch lately. Several over 12 inches. Worst thing is when they hit they just run and when you have 5 or 6 poles out it quickly creates a mess. Doing my best to thin the population out.
