Took my brother in law and future brother in law to Harris to let them longline for the first time. Marked great looking fish in 18-20 fow so started longlining a variety of jigs and various jig head sizes from 1/64-1/16. Started catching fish instantly but no size at .8-.9 mph. Slowed down to .6-.7 and the size increased to catch some 10"+ in 10-14 fow. My future brother in law snagged his nice size first crappie and you would have thought it was a 3lbr. He's now hooked like the rest of us and fired up to go again and my brother in law let him know how proud he was as you can see in the background. Lol. We ended up catching 70 or so and they kept 27. This color kalin here was by far the hot color for us yesterday.
