Finally Back to Fishing

It has been 5 months since my last fishing trip and was I really glad to get back on the water!!!! I had to give it up for a little bit, because I was in the process of finishing a remodel of a house (7 yrs worth) to be put on the market. Yea, it takes that long for me at least cause I would let fishing get in my way of working on the house. Good news is it will close on Tuesday and a little of the $$$$ go to. Yep, you got that right, new and improved fishing gear, life jackets, rods n reels, depth finder, tires for the boat trailer, and some needed work done to the ole Yukon to get the lakes and back. Fished lake Hickory this afternoon and did manage to get a mess of 8 nice crappie for the supper table. It did not seem that they were on the banks yet but are probly getting close. Some of the fish were caught close to the bank, but others were in deeper water. Water temp was around 63 deg, and all were caught on jig. Well hope to be back to giving more reports soon!!!!

spot I was wondering if you gave up on us.
Last NC/SC clash Turkeyfoot and i were the only NC boats. We negoicated a deal and took the trophy away for NC
