i am going to try Badin or Tillery in about 3 weeks. Any advice on strategy? what should the fish be doing around that time frame?

I am planning on going either Friday or Saturday, I will let you know what I figure out!
Fishing is a science, study, experiment, fail, and succeed...then start over tomorrow. Yeah I'm a science guy.

Tillery has some nice crappie if you can wade through the perch to get them. If you fish minnows you will catch 200 perch. lol. I don't get there often since we moved to Boone, but when I do I usually pull jigs or crankbaits to keep from catching so many perch. Last time I went, we pulled umbrella rigs for stripers with 1 oz bucktails and still filled the livewell with perch hitting them.

In 3 weeks you might be looking toward brush. Seems like everything is a little early this year so they may go to summer pattern earlier. Deeper water mouths of creeks hold fish year round.
