    Default Bank fishing Jordan lake???

Just wondering if anyone know if the crappies are biting shallow yet? I'm heading there tomorrow and would like to save a trip if the crappies are still in deep water. Any info is deeply appreciated!!!!

Can't help you a lot. I know I fished from the shore at Jordan tues-thurs and nothing but 3 small white perch. Hopefully they started moving in this weekend but can't say and no other posts to indicate one way or the other. Good luck!

Went to Jordan today fishing from the bank but no bite. I jigged at various spots but it seems like the fish are still hanging deep. Also the water is a bit higher than normal, that may have something to do why it's not biting as well. But I just dont think they are ready to come shallow til maybe next week.

If you aren't already, you should be using a slip float. That way you can fish deeper under a float that the length of your rod. Man, I wish I'd know about them years ago when my boat was the bank! (Jordan is up a couple feet which can throw off the bite)

Yes I have thought about slip cork but that only work if you do a really slow retrieve and stop or just pop it and retrieve. With my style I like to slow retrieve but never stop. But it would be something I'll be definitely do next time..thanks

You might also try with a maribou or a hair jig. A plastic jig will dance when it is pulled, but the hair jig will dance with the current.
