    Default Is it true about Lake Norman


    Saw on FB yesterday that there was a sewage spill at lake norman. Was wondering if its true or a april fools gag

    Yes it's true. You should not keep any fish from cowans ford damn and above. Which would include all of the lake norman waters. If you do keep and fry the fish it will smell and taste like fish. Do not attempt to try this without expert supervision.

    Yep. They had a spill about this time last year as well. Waterfront property value dropped like a ??? overnight.

    I'm no expert, but seems like I remember 3 things about plumbing, H on Left, C on Right, and ____ don't flow upstream. Now if there's a spill in Lake Norman, how can that not go all the way to Wateree?? Besides that, Tega Cay was spilling into Wylie last year, and Great Falls was spilling into Wateree several years back. Seems like the Catawba is turning into the sewage dump.
