    Default Moss 3/25/16 Report*

Water temps 58 at daylight and warming to 61 by 1:30 when I left. It seems like most crappie are still suspended about 15' deep in the creek channels. I found a few fish on brush and a few on the bank, but not many. No real bigguns today, the biggest crappie was 14". I kept a limit of the better fish for Mama and Daddy. I also got into some Hybrids a couple of times, the biggest one is 24 1/4". That was a battle on the ol' crappie pole.

I'm new to this form and new to moss lake. I would like to try some hybrid fishing from the bank. Where is the best place to do that from. Thanks

As far as I know, there are only two public access points on the lake: The main boat landing and the picnic area straight across the lake. I think fishing is allowed at both sites, but you better check with the lake office before you fish. Unfortunately, there will be a fee.
