I spent around 6 hrs today on the nc side of lake Wylie. I started out on the Catawba river side around 7:30. The water was 57 deg and moving. I down rigged live minnows and jigs, tossed roadrunners, etc. I only managed two small bass. Around noon I pulled the kayak out and went to the south fork side of the lake. The water was 65-72 and I fished the same way without any bites.
No luck today. I didn't even mark any fish. Between the wheels turning and all the grass in the water, it was tough fishing.

Carolina Crappie Association on Wylie Friday and Saturday for their Classic. Havent heard any results for first day.
