Going on a shakedown run in dad's "new to him" pontoon. Most of our day will be burning fuel, but will be watching the finder and will haul bait and wet some lines if we stumble upon em. I have no idea where they are, but love to see a kid have a good time, so I'll share some worthless wisdom, since I haven't seen anything posted from the "masters". I'll be looking around sharp structure, maybe 20+ Fow. I don't know what the recent weather has done to them, but that's where I'd start. My favorite places start just below hollemans, and north. If you hit me up, I'll give you a cell #, and try to update you if I find em, to keep your son busy. We're trying to be on the water by 11. Be ready for it to be busy. Everyone has cabin fever.

I tried on Sat and only caught one small bass. There were A LOT of boats on the water. The most I've ever seen. Never saw anyone catch anything but I did see one boat hang out in the same area the whole time I was there. They had to be on something.
