I would agree 100% on that, I would much rather a boat go by me with some speed then when they slow down instantly and create the big wake.

Each watercraft has it's own advantages and disadvantages and it's also important for the owner of that craft to realize their limitations. Kayak fishing is my most enjoyable way to fish, but I accept the limitation that on a busy day on the water, and especially when the water is cold enough to hurt you, that I can't fish in certain locations no matter how good the fishing may be for safety or sanity reasons. Then again, catching fish is a bonus for me not the goal so I'll go park in a nice quite creek and watch a pole all day long and go home happy because thats 100000% times better then having to constantly be on high alert for other boats and having wake throw you around.

Attachment 231579 Just thought I'd share a pic from last Sunday. I drifted into the buoy, as I was having issues staying put... On that note, I lost my anchor below that bridge behind me. Is there a way to rotate this pic? Not sure why it's showing up that way.
