    Default Lake wylie question

Making a trip to while for only the second time this coming weekend. Looking at the map definitely has me leaning toward trying paw creek at some point. The big question I have is access. Is there a ramp close by to put a boat in. If it is it's not showing on the lake map I have. If I need to run the river I will but how treacherous is it? Thanks for any help.

I'm not familiar with Paw creek, actually, I've not heard of it.

South point landing would be your best bet.not to far of a ride to paw creek.from south point to paw creek river is no trouble.

You should have no problems running the river up until you get just a mile or so down from the I 85 bridge IF you even need to go up that far.

Southpoint is your only good ramp on that endof the lake.
