First time out on Harris this fall. On water at 8:45 AM water temp 58* and slick with no wind. Fished minnows on coleman rigs. Marked a lot of small bait pods with fish in them near bottom in 20' deep water. The fish were Crappie and White Perch. By 1PM the water temp was 63* and the bait and fish had moved off the bottom to around 12' to 15' deep and something was pushing the shad to the surface(bass maybe) and the gulls were feasting on them in towering twisting clouds. Nice day Kept 12 Crappie and 19 perch. Largest Crappie 15" but all over 11"
