    Default Night fishing

Will the night fishing be any good after all this rain and the water temps cooling down?

I have only tried night fishing in the winter one time and it was a bust. Once the water temp gets back in the low 70's the long line trolling is to good to miss anyway.

If you're in the right area, you can catch crappie at night year round. Right after a rain may change things for a little bit until the weather and water stabilize.
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

I'm sure if I put time and effort in it I'll find spots to fish at night in the cooler months but my experience it isn't as good as the summer months

My Father was talking to a funeral home director in Apex one day and they ended up talking about crappie fishing on Jordan. This guy said for a long time, he would fish under the bridge at Ebeneezer every Monday night--rain, snow or heat--didn't matter if he could launch his boat. Personally, the fish are biting good right now during the day and I don't want to stay up late at night.
